TSA: What You Can Bring

TSA: What You Can Bring

It’s always been a confusing aspect of airline and airport security.

When you’re going through TSA checkpoints, what actually constitutes a banned liquid? Is it a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? How about a pecan pie?

We all know that a can of soda or bottle of water can’t go through security.

Large bottles of cologne or moisturizer are also banned.

But there are exceptions to the 3-1-1 rule, which means nothing more than 3.4 ounce containers.

Over-the-counter liquid medication is allowed, along with contact lens solution, ice packs to keep medications cold, fish transported in water and breast milk are all allowed.

As for the peanut butter and jelly sandwich and the pecan pie, they should be ok.
