Hello World
The fact that you might have a legitimate medical need for prescription drugs when you travel doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be allowed to bring them on your trip.
Some common prescription drugs have been banned by a growing number of countries.
Codeine is banned by Colombia, Germany and the United Arab Emirates.
Amphetamines — or medications containing them — are banned in Thailand, Malaysia and Germany, among other countries.
If your prescription medication includes these drugs, you should bring a copy of your prescription with you, as well as a letter from your physician that explains why you need to take the medication, listed by its brand, along with its generic name.
