The European Union has published its annual bathing water assessment, revealing that 96% of bathing waters meet quality standards.
Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, and Austria have the highest share of excellent bathing waters. Other countries with high marks include Belgium, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Malta, Austria, and Romania.
