Everyone knows me as the picky one by now. I’m the picky one in my family; I’m the picky one when shopping; I’m the picky fashion editor at InStyle. But, my pickiness really comes out when I shop at Amazon; with quite literally hundreds of thousands of things to buy, I really have to put on my picky hat to make sure that a) something is worth it and b) something’s worth sharing, too. Alas, with Amazon’s Prime Big Deals Days here, I once again pulled out the picky hat to find the best of the best for you. 

I scoured the deals (and there are many!!) to find the 16 best of the best that passed my picky test. I’ll never stop praising the magic that is Joe’s jeans. I’mnot sure what the brand sews into its denim, but every style I’ve tried has given me the best butt ever. Not to mention, they are comfy, wash well, and just look good. A denim must-have!

Whenever anything from Vince goes on sale, I’m the first to scoop it up. The designer brand is known for its top-quality, ultra-comfy staples that are truly timeless, and I’m already imagining the myriad of outfits I can make with this unfussy dress. Sneakers and black sunnies for a shopping-heavy day and tall slouch boots for a night out? Sounds like a win.

Hobo bags are trending big time, and while it’s definitely taking my back to the 2000s, I’m okay with that. The laid-back bag style has won the attention of cool-girl Dakota Johnson, and if she’s carrying it, so will I. Of course, the spacious design is a huge plus. Sure, it might not be ideal to buy sandals this time of year, but I actually think it’s the best time, because styles are majorly marked down. Splendid has long perfected the art of making the most buttery soft staples, so I’m making this simple, versatile turtleneck mine before it sells out. I plan on wearing this underneath leather jackets and blazers alike, as well as at home when I’m cuddling on the couch. This piece has range.

Jacquemus? On sale? Need I say more. This ultra mini bag might not seem like the most practical of bags, but that’s not what it’s for. It’s a fashion piece, meant to hold only the essentials, like a lipstick and a credit card, and honestly, that’s all you need when you leave the house.
