And just like that, the Spring 2026 season of New York Fashion Week has come to a close. Running from September 11 until September 16, the schedule put out by the Council of Fashion Designers of America proved to be a far more streamlined affair in comparison to seasons past.
However, NYFW packed one almighty punch and has proved to be a fantastic opener to the fashion weeks ahead. It was ultimately the titan of American fashion, Ralph Lauren, who unofficially kick-started the Spring 2026 season with one colossal bang. The designer welcomed guests to his private design studio, located at 650 Madison Avenue, presenting a collection in a simple (yet utterly sophisticated) color palette of white, black, and red. Names like Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Wilde, and Lisa Rina descended upon the Terminal Warehouse in Chelsea for the Michael Kors show while Off-White’s Ib Kamara returned to the NYFW schedule and staged his show within a high school on the Lower East Side.
The fashion pack came together to bear witness to the second outing of Veronica Leoni as Calvin Klein Collection creative director. The Italian designer served up a lineup filled with fringe, scarf details, rich textures, minimalism, and sumptuous silhouettes.Prabal Gurung took the fashion pack to church – quite literally. Models walked the show space (more specifically, St. Bartholomew’s on Park Avenue), in gorgeous chiffons, a beautiful watercolor palette, amongst an angelic choir. The Khaite woman will be a fierce as ever next spring, with designer Catherine Holstein tapping into the many facets of femininity.
