Key Takeaways
- Hailey Bieber wore a brown cat eye manicure for the 2025 Academy Museum Gala.
- Her nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt, shared exactly how the look came to be—including the products she used.
Hailey Bieber is, famously and among many other things, a brown eyed girl. It’s a category I myself belong to and take a medium amount of pride in. They might not be baby blues, but if you work them right they’re worth writing songs about.
The 28-year-old knows how to make her eyes pop more than most (she often has great makeup artists by her side, to be fair). In fact, they were the center of her look at the Academy Museum Gala over the weekend—she even doubled up on brown eye energy with her manicure.

For the special evening, the Rhode founder chose a shimmering brown cat eye manicure to compliment her brown hair, brown eyes, and sculptural brown Schiaparelli gown. The look was the work of her go-to nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt, who called it the “ultimate fall manicure” in an Instagram post.

Per usual, Bieber’s nails were medium-long and filed into a soft-almond shape. Thanks to the cat eye finish, the milky neutral brown shade chosen for her base coat turned into a light, almond-flesh shaded brown when the light hit it. (Are we having an almond fall, Hailey?? An almond-scented lip tint would slay.) In some lights it looked darker, matching the skirt and top of Bieber’s two-tone dress.
How to Get the Look
Ganzorigt was kind enough to break down exactly how she made the manicure happen. She used OPI gel products for the look, which your salon likely has on hand and would happily use to recreate the style for you. Otherwise, you could absolutely find some similar press-ons to make things easy—Static Nails’ Influenced Almond set is a good match.
First, the artist painted on one coat of a mixture she made of Brown to Earth gel polish—it’s also available as a regular lacquer—and No-Wipe Top Coat (the point was to sheer it out, I assume). Then, she added a coat of the same mixture with added cat eye powder before finishing things off with a final layer of the top coat.
And there you have it—the ultimate fall manicure. For brown eyed girls and everyone else.
