Kelly Clarkson Had No Idea That Meghan Markle Had a Netflix Show

Kelly Clarkson apparently had no clue that Meghan Markle had a Netflix lifestyle series, despite it being out for weeks.

During an appearance on Clarkson’s eponymous talk show, guest Brian Tyree Henry shared that he and his Panic Carefully co-star Elizabeth Olsen bonded over their love of With Love, Meghan, the eight-part series that debuted on March 4.

“Lizzie and I share the bond of watching television that’s crazy—and by crazy, we mean stuff that we just really like,” Henry said, per Page Six. “So, we’re in love with With Love, Meghan right now.”

To this, Clarkson responded, “What is that?” with a confused look on her face.

Henry clarified, “The new Meghan Markle-slash-Meghan, Duchess of Sussex show where she’s also like Martha Stewart now”—making note of Meghan’s request on the show to be called by her Sussex surname henceforth.

Henry added that Meghan has “created these things called flower sprinkles, which you apparently can put on anything that you want to eat,” which he said prompted him and Olsen to “get in the flower sprinkles game.” (Said flower sprinkles were one of the eight items available in Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever’s first drop, which came out April 2; the flower sprinkles, as well as all of the other products in the lineup, sold out within an hour on Wednesday.)

“I would love this show!” Clarkson said.

Henry was lucky enough to get a jar of Meghan’s flower sprinkles, which retail for $15—Olsen bought him a jar of the product after they wrapped production on Panic Carefully, he said.

“Not only that—‘cause Meghan is bomb with calligraphy, Meghan does her own calligraphy—Lizzie had her husband [Robbie Arnett] do the calligraphy,” he added. “We’ve started, like, a flower sprinkles gang. We’re also trying to get on the show.” To this, Clarkson said into the camera, “Meghan, get him on the show!”

The shoutout caught Meghan’s attention—following the interview, Meghan shared the clip on her Instagram Story, writing, “Love this so much! Special delivery coming in hot for you two gems,” tagging Henry and Olsen.

“Thanks for the love,” she added.
