Olivier Lalanne (who has served as editor-in-chief from the get-go) has called upon the likes of Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lulu Tenney, Rianne van Rompaey, Nastassia Legrand, and Rebecca Leigh Longendyke as cover stars throughout 2025. Up next on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar France is Margot Robbie. Lalanne secured the Australian actress for the title’s August 2025 edition, complete with photography from Colin Dodgson and Andrew Mukamal reporting for styling duties. In the portrait cover shot, the face of the iconic Chanel No.5 scent wears a knitted cashmere mini dress from the fabled French fashion house’s Fall 2025 collection – and is joined by a small frog for the occasion.

Yet not everyone was so forthcoming. “All for seeing Margot Robbie but this feels like a massively missed opportunity. For me, there’s not one redeeming quality to the cover. Margot looks beautiful (as per usual) but the frog just throws me right off – so random. Not a fan, I’m afraid,” shared vogue28.
