One of the fastest growing travel trends — night sky tourism. And if you’re looking to stargaze in the U.S., here are some of the clearest places.
Take a look at the Milky Way at Cherry Springs State Park in North Central Pennsylvania, one of the darkest skies in the east. You can also catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis or spot a meteor shower.
In the Florida Everglades, you’ll see a number of planets and constellations at Big Cypress National Park.
Or, in California, head to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park for an uncrowded, clear look at the desert sky.
In Utah, there’s Antelope Island State Park in the Great Salt Lake, more than 28,000 acres to find your best position to see unobstructed nighttime views.
