The Elemental Formula for Regenerative Prosperity
Welcome to the RegeniThrive Impact Investment Report, where we explore transformative initiatives across the elemental spectrum—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. Each element represents a facet of our interconnected world, highlighting regenerative solutions that are shaping a sustainable future.
🌍 Earth: Regenerative Agriculture & Soil Health
1. Sunset Farm’s Organic Expansion in Connecticut
Kaitlyn Kimball and Lawrence Passeck expanded Sunset Farm to Milford, establishing the city’s first certified organic farm. Utilizing regenerative practices like composting and cover cropping, they’ve grown their CSA program significantly, contributing to local food security and sustainability.
2. Attune Food Forest in Himachal Pradesh, India
Ankush Rana transformed a four-acre plot into the Attune Food Forest, integrating permaculture principles with local biodiversity. The forest hosts around 2,000 trees and over 350 native species, employing techniques like mulching and composting to enhance soil fertility.
💧 Water: Aquatic Ecosystems & Sustainable Water Management
1. Solar Grazing in Texas
In rural Texas, solar farms are utilizing approximately 3,000 sheep to manage grass between solar panels, a practice known as solar grazing. This method supports both solar energy production and agriculture, benefiting the struggling sheep and wool market.
2. Enhanced Weathering in the U.S. Corn Belt
A large-scale field trial demonstrated that applying crushed basalt to farmland can sequester significant amounts of carbon dioxide while enhancing crop yields. Over four years, maize and soybean yields increased by 12–16%, improving soil fertility and reducing soil acidification.
🔥 Fire: Renewable Energy Solutions
1. Sage Geosystems – Geothermal “Earthen Battery” Technology
Based in Texas, Sage Geosystems is pioneering a geothermal energy storage system known as the “earthen battery.” This technology stores water underground to build pressure, which is then released to generate electricity. In August 2024, Sage Geosystems partnered with Meta to supply 150 megawatts of geothermal energy to its data centers by 2027.
2. Mad Capital’s Perennial Fund II

Soil carbon credit trading is emerging as a promising approach to support farmers financially while contributing to climate change mitigation. Startups like Agreena help farmers measure, verify, and sell carbon credits, offering an alternative income stream. Stay tuned for my article all about carbon credits, including why they might be just another “green-washing” distraction, coming soon.
2. Cargill’s RegenConnect Program
