So I always advise to bring your own, especially on morning flights. And keep it simple.

Bring instant oatmeal packets with you. Just ask the flight attendant for a cup of hot water. Whole fruits you can peel easily also are great, but skip bananas that can easily get crushed in your bag.

And out of respect for your fellow passengers, please, don’t bring hard boiled eggs. And to drink? Don’t ask for club soda. Ask if they have seltzer. Club soda can contain up to 100 milligrams of sodium which won’t really help hydrate you.
